Why Poland protests are shaking the zloty and the economy
The Poland protests stem from a fight over control of the Constitutional Tribunal between the Tusk government and President Nawrocki. After the court's president was suspended on Oct. 30, 2026, the zloty slid to 4.4372 per euro on Nov. 3, and S&P cut Poland's outlook to negative on Nov. 6.
